Community involvement: The Meres & Mosses Nature Improvement Area and Landscape Partnership Scheme project is looking to engage volunteers to complete habitat surveys of their local area, to help us survey for water vole habitat and to help promote fun activities in the area such as walking, cycling, canoeing and fishing. Farm Advice: The Meres & Mosses Nature Improvement Area and Landscape Partnership Scheme project provides free farm advice based around water and nutrient management, assistance in applying for and implementing environmental stewardship agreements or other types of funding application. This is run alongside a farm grant which can help pay for capital items to improve water quality and the wider environment.
