Reserves Monitoring Officer

NWT’s reserve operation incorporates more than 50 nature reserves across Norfolk. The majority of NWT’s reserves are Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs), nine are National Nature Reserves and over half boast international conservation designations. We are looking for an experienced person with excellent skills in practical and ground works to work with the Volunteer Programme Coordinator and all the Project Officers to plan, organise and lead a programme of practical conservation tasks for volunteers.

The role includes working closely with the farming community, contractors, volunteers and specialist organisations such as the Guild of Cornish Hedgers and Cornwall Council Historic Environment Service.

The work is generally seasonal, from March until the end of October. However, some of our Local Fundraisers also work through the winter months. As you'll use the unique 'Soft Approach' method, there is no selling or persuading involved.
